First, our technician walked over to the apartment’s master bedroom closet. The back corner of a dark closet is the perfect place to borrow some extra material because nobody ever looks back there! We carefully measured the exact size of the damaged area out in the living room. Then, we went into the closet and cleanly cut out a perfectly matched square of extra carpet. We took a small piece of remnant material we had in our work truck and patched the back of the closet so the subfloor remained protected and out of sight.
